Austen is an art college graduate who fell into a job in post production by accident. He became a producer at The Mill and spent eight years watching and learning how post was done and also what directors did! Having never had the patience to be a Flame op or the inclination to be in telecine, he decided that the time was right to move to a production company to see the business from the other side.

After 3 years working with his sister (Sally) and his best mate (Ringan), and with them both pushing him to try and direct something himself, he finally took the plunge on a Swatch viral which very quickly led to more Swatch work, Tfl, Sky, The Sun, Carling and more. As Rattling Stick's youngest director Austen is relishing the prospect of taking on as much work as he can to add to his fast developing reel.
