Ringan Ledwidge has become widely acknowledged as one of the UK’s top commercial directors. His rise to success really kick-started in 1999 when he was selected as part of The Dream Team by Creative Review and won Best Young Director at Cannes Lions.
He then went on to receive numerous awards at D&AD and BTAA for his hugely popular commercials for Lynx, Adidas, Nike, the COI and Coca-Cola.
In July 2005, production began on his first feature length film Gone, produced through Working Title and Universal, which was then released in March 2007. |
On returning to the world of commercials, Ringan decided to join forces with director Daniel Kleinman and Rattling Stick was born in May 2006. Here Ringan
has directed award winning campaigns for Vodafone, Orange, Levis, Britvic, Hovis and Virgin Media, COI and Cadburys to name but a few. He also managed to pick up Gold at Cannes Lions and the BTAAs.
Ringan has been named Best Director by Campaign Magazine for two years in a row while Rattling Stick has been named Best Production Company of the Year at the BTAA awards for the past three years. In November 2009, Ringan was rated tied second in the Gunn Report’s most awarded directors in the world .
