Following a foundation course in art, Steve went on to study graphic design at Middlesex University. This was followed by a move to the BBC where he was employed as a designer, firstly at Elstree, then in News & Current Affairs. He then became a freelance director and subsequently a salaried director at BBC Broadcast which then became Red Bee Ltd.
Over the last four years, Steve's unusual combination of skills has enabled him to establish his identity as an award winning commercials director with an almost unrivaled understanding of post production. Steve joined Rattling Stick in November 2007 where he has continued to shoot jobs for Xbox, 02, the COI and many others.
Steve is probably best known for seamlessly bringing Elvis Presley back to life to appear along side other musicians in concert promoting the line up on BBC Radio 2. The ad swept the board, winning twenty eight awards in total. |
