Michael J Ferns is a Scottish director who has been obsessively making films since he was 12 years old… with a Scottish BAFTA already under his belt by the age of 16.

Initially working in TV, he co-created and directed the Official Chart Show and a narrative mini-series for the BBC, both of which were Children’s BAFTA nominated. His natural ability to tell performance-led stories has translated into his commercial work too. Blending cinematic photography with dynamic camera movements, Michael’s quickly building his signature filmmaking style in the world of commercials.
