Rattling Studio partnered with Sky Sports to launch its 2023 season with a bold, cinematic campaign celebrating the scale and spectacle of sport on the platform.
Directed by Daniel Kleinman, the film reimagines the world’s biggest athletes as performers in a surreal circus arena, featuring stars including Erling Haaland, Jon Rahm, Ben Stokes, Sophia Dunkley and Emma Raducanu. From gravity-defying stunts to high-impact sporting moments, the campaign transforms elite competition into a visually spectacular live show.
Shot across multiple days on blue screen, the production combined live action with large-scale CG environments, using extensive previs to choreograph complex sequences and seamlessly integrate athlete performances. The result is an ambitious, effects-driven film that captures the drama and entertainment of live sport at scale.
Positioning Sky Sports as the home of the “greatest show on earth,” the campaign reinforces the breadth and excitement of its offering, driving anticipation for the season ahead while celebrating its access to world-class talent and premium sporting moments. Shortlisted for a Craft award and awarded Bronze for VFX at the British Arrows Awards 2024, the work stands as a showcase of high-end creative and technical execution.
